My husband had two medical emergencies earlier this year. Both times our neighbors offered any assistance that we might need. They stopped with gifts of cheer and were concerned about my husband's well-being without being intrusive.
We resided in Hoffman Estates for 20 years and we never encountered such genuine concern and caring as we did with the neighbors in Commonwealth.

"My husband and I relocated from MA hoping to find a town-house at least as nice as the one we left. We just can't believe how happy we are to have found our home in the Commonwelath in the Village. It is far superior to our previous town-home and those we looked at in the Chicago area with limited multi-level floor plans. Our town-home is much more spacious than any others we've seen. It's well built, beautiful, has lots of sunlight and feels like a single family home. It's conducive to entertaining and provides us ease and comfort with everyday living having a first floor bedroom and laundry room. As if all that weren't already enough, the community is a complete delight with caring neighbors, lovely gardens and easy access to shopping of all sorts without hectic traffic. Our home in Commonwealth in the Village exceeds, on every level, our highest hopes of finding a beautiful, spacious home in a warm, welcoming community."

"My wife and I are relatively new homeowners in Commonwealth but we have lived in Western Springs since 1965. Our children are grown and gone, but we did not wish to leave our friends and this wonderful village.
Commonwealth was just the development to meet our needs and we could not be more pleased! Our townhome represents exemplary design and construction. Examine the workmanship that went into these homes and you will find that they offer the v ery best in home value void of inferior materials.
Another enjoyable feature in Commonwealth is membership in the Association which provides residents with worry-free snow removal, landscaping, lawn and exterior building maintenance, etc. Moving to Commonwealth was a very wise decision on our part and we only regret that we did not do it sooner!"

"Our move to the Commonwealth in the Village was one of apprehension as to what it would be like to not have all the responsibilities of maintaining a home. Needless to say, this proved to be unfounded and we were able to travel and play golf to our hearts' content as we knew things would be cared for.
However, this new found freedom was in second place, as we soon found out, that our neighbors were the greatest asset in our move. They were friendly, looked out for each other, compassionate and made the neighborhood seem like family. This spirit still exists and has made the living in such an environment a distinct pleasure and a unique experience. We're glad that we took this step to live in a townhome environment."
